1. Try to unplug and replug the cable

Sometimes the cable just doesn’t connect as expected. A simple unplug and replug might help.

  1. Unplug the cable from the iPhone
  2. Wait 5 seconds
  3. Connect the cable again

2. Restart Bezel

  1. Click the Bezel icon in the menubar at the top of your screen
  2. Choose “Quit Bezel”
  3. Launch the Bezel app again by going to Finder > Applications > Bezel and double click it

3. Restart the iPhone

It happens that the iPhone gets stuck and refuses to talk to the Mac. A restart can resolve this.

  1. Unplug the cable from the iPhone
  2. Restart the device (See below for instructions how to reboot)
  3. Connect the cable again
